Queer Family Tree: Ross

In this installment of Queer Family Tree, filmmaker Tay Barrett's 2018 mini documentary series, viewers meet Ross. The series introduces members of the gay and lesbian community one at a time and lets each share the personal path that led to self-acceptance and self-love. Running about three minutes, Ross's episode offers a compact, sincere look at one person's experience. Instead of building a single narrative, the series gathers individual stories side by side, each one a branch on a shared family tree. The result is a quiet reminder that there is no single route to accepting who you are, and that each person's story deserves its own moment to be heard.
