Queer Family Tree: Melanie

Melanie is the focus of this installment of Queer Family Tree, a mini documentary series made in 2018 by filmmaker Tay Barrett. The idea behind the series is straightforward: meet members of the gay and lesbian community one at a time and learn about the unique paths each has taken toward self-acceptance and self-love. In about four minutes, Melanie's episode offers a personal window into one of those journeys.
