UnderSense

UnderSense takes the viewer inside the mind of a woman named Alicia. She lives in a modern world defined by confusion, and she has never really learned how to love. Instead, Alicia finds herself belonging to two people at once — one man, one woman — each of whom answers a different side of her and reflects the divided world around her. Written and directed by Simona di Michele, this eleven-minute Italian short blends psychological drama with the tension of a thriller, treating Alicia's situation less as a conventional love triangle than as an inner struggle. Aida Yespica, Gaia Saponaro and Alessandro Mario star. Stylish and introspective, UnderSense is a study of desire, identity and indecision, and of what it means to be pulled in two directions at once without knowing which way leads home.
