Toeing the Line

Zach and Lamar have been inseparable friends for years, close enough that there is almost nothing they have not done together. Almost. On the day this drama unfolds, the one line the two men have always left alone is suddenly crossed, and the friendship they thought they understood turns into something neither of them has words for. Writer-director Branden Blinn keeps the story close to the two friends and to the women in their lives, Shawnee and Rebecca, as the fallout spreads outward over seventeen minutes. Jesse Pepe, D'Andre Lampkin, Zondra Wilson and Kristin Erickson star. Honest about desire, loyalty and the fear of losing what you already have, Toeing the Line is a small-scale story about a big moment, and about how a single choice can redraw the shape of a life and the people closest to it.
