The Deal Springs into Spring 2012

The Deal checks in on the season of fresh starts with this spring 2012 special, a lively look at the topics and trends that had everyone talking. Directed by Michael Dubin, the program brings together a panel of media and culture voices, including Out magazine's Aaron Hicklin, Norman Brannon, Jerry Portwood, Sveta Bout and Kayden Kross, for conversation that ranges across fashion, entertainment, style and the news of the moment from a gay point of view. The format is relaxed and quick-witted, closer to a lively dinner-party exchange than a formal debate, and the fun lies in watching sharp, opinionated people react to what is new, what is next and what is already over. A time capsule of one spring in pop culture, it captures the energy and confidence of Here TV's magazine-style programming.
