Single, Out

Set in Melbourne, Single, Out follows Adam (Will Hutchins), a young man who comes out as gay after his first sexual experience and soon finds himself falling for Josh (Adam Mountain), the best friend of his brother Clayton (Steven Christou). What begins as a coming-out story grows into something broader: a look at the awkward, funny and sometimes painful business of figuring out who you are while juggling work, family and friendships. Created by Lee Galea, the Australian comedy-drama blends romance with everyday humor as Adam navigates new love, misunderstandings with Josh, and a supportive but complicated circle that includes his co-worker Gabe (Jake Hyde). Across four seasons, the series lets its characters grow on screen, treating first relationships with honesty and warmth and showing that the real adventure starts after the big announcement.
