Sex Love Venice

Still hurting after a breakup, Michael (Daniel Bateman) leaves home behind and escapes to Venice, Italy, hoping a change of scene will help him heal. Among its canals and narrow streets he meets Marco (Alexander Ananasso), and a connection he never went looking for begins to open his heart and point his life in a new direction. Writer-director Steve Balderson films the story in Venice itself, letting the city serve as both shelter and temptation. Mink Stole, longtime member of John Waters's film company, appears with Suzanna Akins and Zaramok Bachok. Running 102 minutes, Sex Love Venice is a romantic drama about loss, desire and starting over somewhere new, where beauty seems to insist on a second chance.
