Orange Blossoms

Emily is caught in a toxic relationship that has slowly worn down her sense of what she deserves. Then a mysterious woman appears in her life without warning, and Emily's world begins to shift. Written and directed by Danica Dodds, who also appears on screen, this 30-minute American drama features Aimee Crowther and Cole Gerdes. Part romance and part story of self-discovery, Orange Blossoms follows Emily as the arrival of this stranger opens her eyes to the possibility of a different life, and as she begins to gather the strength to leave behind a relationship that has been hurting her. Gentle and hopeful, the film is about the courage it takes to recognize an unhealthy situation, the way an unexpected connection can change everything, and the slow, sometimes frightening process of rediscovering your own worth.
