One More Please

Alone and looking for a way to get through the evening, a young man settles in at a bar with plans to drink his loneliness away. Then a handsome stranger sits down beside him, and what begins as a playful drinking game slowly turns into something more, each round lowering his guard a little further. Written and directed by Aleksei Borovikov, this five-minute short stars Jack Posey, Sam Douglas, Lani Stait Duran and Amber Christina. In just a few minutes it traces a full arc of loneliness, flirtation and unexpected connection, keeping its focus on the small looks and gestures that pass between two people who have only just met. Bittersweet and charming, One More Please is a compact story about taking a chance on someone, and the surprising places a single conversation can lead.
