My Age Now

It is a Sunday, one of those rare days that feel like a pause from ordinary life, and a young man cannot stop replaying the end of a relationship: a final voice message, the breakup itself, and a goodbye he would give anything to take back. Written and directed by Daniel Talbott, this 14-minute short follows him through the quiet hours of that day as memories of the man he loved keep crowding into the present. Carey Cannata and Tyler Woehl star in an intimate drama that is less about what happened than about how it feels afterward — the regret, the tenderness and the strange calm that can settle in once there is nothing left to fix. Spare and emotionally direct, My Age Now captures the way a love can keep speaking long after it has ended, and how one ordinary day can hold an entire relationship.
