Life in Love with Nick & Kaiden

Nick and Kaiden are a new couple, and director Abel Rubinstein's documentary short follows them through the first weeks of their relationship. Set within London's gay community, the film watches the pair balance an unconventional working life with the ordinary business of falling in love, while they talk openly about their jobs, the politics of the community around them and what they want from each other. Between nights out, quiet moments at home and honest conversations, a relationship that started with simple attraction begins to grow into something deeper. Warm, playful and unhurried, the film listens rather than judges, and in about fourteen minutes Life in Love with Nick & Kaiden offers an affectionate portrait of two people building trust and finding out what love looks like on their own terms.
