Leather Jacket Love Story

In this romantic comedy, an 18-year-old boy finds first love and much learning about gay life in Los Angeles after he gets involved with a 30-year-old construction worker. Young Kyle came to the big city before going to college. A Valley boy in every sense who feels a tad lost in LA's fast-paced Silverlake district, he spends his free time hanging out at a cafe writing poetry. There he is befriended by a trio of drag queens and then gets involved with handsome Mike. Their relationship seems strong and the ecstatic Kyle clings to Mike like bubblegum to a bedpost, something that doesn't sit well with the carefree Mike, who is not interested in monogamy. Shortly after purchasing the title garment in preparation for his first public poetry reading, Kyle sees his love talking to another man, is emotionally crushed and finds solace with a number of willing fellows at a local bath house.
