How Far Will You Go?

A group of young gay men compete for the title of Vancouver's Next Gay Top Model in this documentary-style reality series, and the contest is only half the story. Cameras follow the contestants through castings, photo shoots and runway challenges, but they also follow them home, capturing friendships and rivalries, relationships put to the test, and the personal lives each man brings to the competition. Directed by Mellanie Siteman and featuring Rob Trinh, the series was produced in Canada, where it aired on OUTtv, and reached American viewers on Here TV. Across nine episodes it shows the hard work and heartbreak that come with chasing a modeling career, along with the self-doubt and determination that surface between rounds. It is a candid look at an industry built on appearances, with a genuine interest in the people behind the photos.
