Here Os

Here Os is a Here TV documentary series of short biographical portraits, each devoted to a person who has helped shape contemporary gay and lesbian culture, along with allies who stood beside the community. Produced and directed by Billy Clift and David Millbern, the episodes pair archival material with new interviews to follow a life from its beginnings through the turning points that defined it. The first season profiles photographer Michael Childers, known for his images of the worlds of film, dance and theater; Aaron Walton, co-founder of the marketing and advertising firm Walton Isaacson; and attorney Gloria Allred, a longtime advocate for women's rights. Compact at around half an hour, each portrait is an introduction to a remarkable career and to the friendships, risks and convictions behind it.
