Greetings from Here: Amsterdam

Amsterdam has a character all its own, and this edition of Here TV's travel series Greetings from Here sets out to capture it. Guy Thielen, Diva Mayday and Paul van der Zanden appear as the program explores the Dutch capital, from its canals and landmarks to its nightlife, with an eye on what the city offers gay and lesbian visitors. Along the way, viewers pick up practical information for planning a trip of their own, with tips on what to see and how to make the most of a stay. Made in 2009 and running just under half an hour, the special combines the pleasures of armchair travel with the useful details a visitor needs, making it a handy introduction for first-timers and a pleasant return for anyone who already knows and loves the city.
