Glances

In a busy café, two strangers, Mike (Enrique Escarpita) and Sean (Ryan Pikofsky), catch each other's eye and cannot quite look away. Nothing is said, but something passes between them, and both men are left to deal with feelings they never expected to have. Written and directed by Aleksei Borovikov and produced by Emma Zeller, this seven-minute American short tells its story almost entirely through looks, hesitation and silence, capturing the charge of a connection between two people who have never spoken a word to each other. Olivia Long co-stars. Glances is a small, emotional piece about attraction, uncertainty and the brief moments that can stay with you long after they pass. It is featured on Here TV in The Gay Agenda 34.
