Dominant Chord

Adam Charles is a country music star at the top of his game, with hit records, awards and sold-out shows. For years he has kept his private life out of view, including his relationship with his partner, Brian, whom he has promised again and again to acknowledge in public. When a video of the two men surfaces online and Adam is on the verge of being outed, his manager, Jolene, rushes to protect his image, and Adam faces a choice between the career he built and the man he loves. Written and directed by Jeremy Leroux, Dominant Chord is a nine-minute Canadian drama-romance starring Clayton James, Sean Poague and Caitlin Stryker. It is a heartfelt short about honesty, fame and the cost of living a lie in an industry that has been slow to welcome openly gay artists.
