Delta

Since her parents divorced, Julie has seen little of her father. When she finally comes to stay with Nicolas, she meets the man he now lives with, Christian, who is much younger than her father and much closer to her own age. Christian and Nicolas are in the middle of an argument, and Christian sees Julie's visit as a chance to tip it in his favor: if he can win her over, he might win the fight. Over ten tightly drawn minutes, writer-director Marco Sandeman lets the three characters circle one another as loyalties shift and old resentments come to the surface. Rosalinde Mynster, Mads Reuther and Peder Holm Johansen star in Delta, a sharp chamber drama about the new shapes a family can take after a marriage ends, and about the awkward work of getting to know a parent all over again.
