Boundaries

Jared cannot let go. His relationship is over, his ex-boyfriend has moved on, and the silence between them has become more than he can stand. Determined to be noticed, he begins taking steps that grow more extreme each time, until his longing for attention starts to look like something far more dangerous than heartbreak. Written and directed by Rhys Marc Jones, this nine-minute British drama stars Jared Free, Manny Dunn and Paix Robinson, and keeps its focus tightly on one young man's inability to accept that love has ended. Rather than offering easy answers, Boundaries asks the audience to sit with an uncomfortable question: where does missing someone end, and where does crossing a line begin? It is a compact, unsettling study of rejection, obsession and the limits people forget they have.
