A Beautiful Cruel Thing

Chad and Myron have built a life together, and then a diagnosis changes everything. When Myron learns he has cancer, the couple is forced to measure their love against a clock, deciding how to spend the time they have and how to care for each other through fear, treatment and hope. Lamont Pierre created the series and serves as its writer, director and cinematographer, producing it through his Arthouse International Studios label in collaboration with Here TV. Jovanni Colon and Rico Milan star as the two men at its heart. The first season follows the couple as they absorb the news and face the illness together; the ten-episode second season widens the frame, with chapters shot in Scotland, France, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Puerto Rico. Intimate and unhurried, A Beautiful Cruel Thing is a love story about holding on to joy when time is no longer on your side.
